When to go and how to get there
Golf all year round and beach from June to September. Quinta do Lago is around twenty minutes from Faro airport, which has direct connections with much of Europe.
Where to rent a villa in the Algarve
The golden triangle, between Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Vilamoura, holds the design villas beside golf, the Ria Formosa and the beach. To the west, Lagos, Praia da Luz and the Sagres coast offer cliffs and more open beaches; Carvoeiro and Ferragudo, houses above the coves.
