When to go and how to get there
The Costa del Sol is a year-round destination: June to September for the sea, and autumn, winter and spring for golf. Málaga airport is about forty-five minutes away along the coastal motorway.
Where to rent a villa in Marbella
The Golden Mile, between the centre and Puerto Banús, holds the most classic villas by the sea, and Sierra Blanca, on the hillside, the houses with views. To the west, Nueva Andalucía and the Golf Valley are the area of villas beside the courses; Guadalmina, San Pedro and Benahavís (La Zagaleta, El Madroñal, La Quinta) offer more privacy and larger plots.
